2025 Price Survey Officer Briefing

BPS Magelang City on Tuesday, January 14 2025 held a briefing for 2025 Producer Price Survey officers. The Producer Price Survey is a routine survey conducted by BPS every month. The price survey produces the Producer Price Index (PPI). PPI has benefits, including as an early warning system for price fluctuations at the next price level. Apart from that, the benefits of IHP are to support the calculation of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and economic growth.

The Producer Price Survey Briefing took place in the Magelang City BPS office hall with participants being officers who carried out field data collection as well as Producer Price Survey supervisors/inspectors. By conducting the briefing, it is hoped that participants will be able to provide a common and comprehensive understanding of the Producer Price Survey. So that the quality of producer price data becomes more accurate, valid and representative.
