Abstract

The number of the workforce in August 2024 was 21.91 million people, an increase of 839.71 thousand people compared to the workforce in August 2023. Likewise, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) was recorded as increasing by 2.02 percentage points, to 73.74 percent in August 2024.
The open unemployment rate (TPT) in August 2024 was 4.78 percent, down 0.35 percentage points compared to August 2023.
