Abstract

Magelang city in October 2015 experienced a 0.07 percent inflation by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 120.05 higher than in September 2015 by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 119.97. Inflation occurs mainly due to price increases resulting increase in the index at 0.19 per cent foodstuffs, processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.10 percent, housing, water, electricity, and fuel 0.06 percent, health group by 0.3 percent, education, recreation and sport 0.01 percent. While deflation is the transportation, communication and financial services 0.01 percent, and the clothing group by 0.06 percent.
